	   Según esa institución, no debería permitirse a las mujeres exponerse a una operación de ese tipo sin avisarlas antes del riesgo que corre su salud mental.</P><P>
	   Esa advertencia, recogida en el dominical "The Sunday Times", se produce cuando el Parlamento se dispone a votar una propuesta tendente a reducir el plazo máximo en que es legal practicar un aborto "por motivos sociales".</P><P>
	   La propuesta de reducir ese plazo de las 24 semanas actuales a sólo 20 semanas no tiene el apoyo del Gobierno laborista.</P><P>
