The Siberian Tiger—Will It Survive?

On a clear winter day in Russia's far east, a huge cat races across the glittering snow, chased by a helicopter. As a sharpshooter with rifle in hand leans out of the helicopter, the tiger leaps up a tree and roars a challenge. The man fires. The helicopter lands, and its occupants cautiously approach the striken beast.
ARE the men poachers? No, they are researchers who use tranquilizer darts. They have come to study one of the most endangered animals on earth, the elusive Siberian tiger. All living things, including the great cats, are evidence of God’s wisdom and power, and he views them as worthy of his attention and care. (Psalm 104:10, 11, 21, 22)
Many people who deeply appreciate the works of the Creator have confidence that a time will come when the Siberian tiger will no longer be in danger of extinction.
