For those of us old enough to remember, its the six million dollar man coming true.

Hmmm.... I do remember Steve Austin, and the show.
I also remember Terminator and know that science fiction precedes science fact. I'm happy that people with a need for this technology may have a solution, but I am also worried about what we will be dealing with in about 35 years when the neural computing processor becomes a reality. Sometimes knowing the future really, really sucks.
