I haven't read the article, but it's my most favorite fruit. Anyone else grow up eating it with salt??

The price is ridiculous now. I can remember when a whole one cost .25 Now they're anywhere between $4-6.00

I never ate watermelon with salt. Nor am I opposed to it. But I associate watermelons with a sweet taste.

Gosh, they do sound awfully expensive nowadays. That disappoints me greatly. :\
