I'm not a Ron Paul guy, but he had a lot of things right, that's for sure.

If it were possible for all of us (U.S.) who know that things are messed up, to come together on what we have in common, we could work on what is important and make revolution possible. Unfortunately, we have allowed ourselves to be divided into religious and non-religious, conservative and liberal, gay and straight, feminist and traditional, black and white, etc... We allow ourselves to be distracted by emotional, hot-button issues and refuse to discourse with each other about life and death topics. We've been played like fish, hooked by the media mouthpieces of the rich and powerful. If we fail to hang together, we will assuredly hang separately, like the prideful little individualists we are.

Good remarks mcsmithblack. So true. I doubt it will ever happen though, knowing human nature.
