Are you serious? He has the 2nd highest rated show on all of Cable TV, his 4:00 afternoon ratings beat the prime time ratings of all other news channels COMBINED. The good democrats are loving Beck and he is rallying the decent people to combat this authoritarian, fascist lurch. HIs largest growth demographics are among moderates, dems, and 18 to 35 year olds. And, his 4:00 household viewership is unprecedented in the history of television. Finished? May I ask? What has Beck ever said that you disagree with? I think he's the MSM's new Sarah Palin. i mean this in a good way wilhelm- i feel that glenn beck is an excitable man- who should pay more attention to being a responsible journalist- back off a bit on inciting the mode of fear or making people feel they need to lash out against something - anything- he is a charismatic man- and only good conscience should dictate what his responsibilities are...... just my personal opinion? but i feel that glenn beck spends more time researching his ratings and not enough time spent imparting facts- but - it is just my observation of him- so- u know..........he has a right to say what he feels- never said he wasn't popular- with some/which is all the more reason for him to use discretion in his reporting and not try and incite riots or instill fear- he'll always appeal to a certain audience- as for his current sponsors backing him- this does indeed seem to be his dilemma now......... i feel that glenn beck is an excitable man- who should pay more attention to being a responsible journalistHe is not a journalist, but feel free to challenge the facts if you choose. The only response the White House has made to the massive load of questions and assertions by Beck is this alone..." Van Jones is not a czar, he is a special adviser to the President" He is an adviser on green jobs. Let me ask you, why would anyone want advice from a self-avowed communist regarding job creation? Job creation is not quite a communist's specialty, in case you haven't heard. Don't you wonder? do you know - do you wonder? what link there is to the American worker? and communism? let's see how good your research is? and you're right he isn't a journalist- nor is he very well informed- What is he not informed about? most every thing he talks about - do i wonder what a self avowed communist has to say about the plight of th american worker- or how a comunist could even have an opinion on such matters? not really have you now wilhelm- or have you ever been a member of organized labor? have you ever been in a union? or do you know anyone who has? do u see how maybe it is sort of just drivel that glenn beck would point out how a communist could know nothing about labor- gee - they sort of go hand in hand wilhelm I was in management in the Construction Industry several years ago, actually almost a decade now, whew, time flies. . I know a little something about Trade Unions. But that is neither here nor there. I'll just chalk your opinions up to hate because there is no substance at all. I happen to watch shows of those with whom I disagree. I can't imagine that you have watched or listened to to Beck. He pled for people to listen to Bin Laden years before the 9/11. He commented many times about a disaster waiting to happen in New Orleans because the localities squandered money to build stronger levees. He sounded the alarm on the economy before anyone else in the media ad clue. He cautioned his list... ok...wilhelm- i get- that you like him......me? not so much...........it's all good though I really don't care that you don't like him. Though it is hard to understand why a decent person would not like another decent person. However, if you are not going to like someone, you should be able to give a reason why. I have asked several times. You offer no reason, just bias and what appears to be bigotry. I don't believe it's 'hatred' so much as a pre-subscribed mindset. Once a philosophy is accepted all things are filtered through that grid. So much has happened to change the dynamic of our thinking over the last decade. I am grateful for Glenn Beck. He gives us the 'other side'. While once-upon-a-time his thinking would have been the status quo...no longer. Forces within America are (have been) offering opposing views...socialist views; and most Americans do not know (or have time) to refute them. I just want us all to stand with our Country when the forces come against us but I'm afraid that they will be so confused that they/we won't know where to stand! beck does what he's paid to do - preach to the choir. He isn't there convince the left to accept and join the right, he's there to whip the right into a frenzy so that they stand stronger in solidarity and ignore the fact that what they are getting are lies and propaganda. He's the glue to cement one group of people together so that their leaders maintain their power even after their exploits and crimes are brought to light. He is very good at it. But to call him accurate or a journalist is deluded. Jafla: There is one word for that you wrote-paranoia. I can totally understand how Jeffrey is proud of the fact that Beck is a simpleton. |
