merrie says: and "started a literacy project that uses hip-hop culture to increase school engagement and reading skills among high school students." It also says that he works with the ACLU Drug Reform Project, "focusing on drug informant policy." The ACLU favors legalization of all drugs. James Pera, a retired San Francisco Police Sergeant who saw first-hand the violence of the BLA and the Weather Underground, asked, "Why does O'Reilly pander to this tool of the left? I don't know. If they can bash the Obama Administration for not vetting left-wing radical Van Jones, shouldn’t they explain how Marc Lamont Hill was hired and who hired him? FOX isn't exactly the White House. FOX tries to be fair and balanced, my guess is it's hard to find someone representing the radical left that seems so prominent in this administration who doesn't have background issues. Seems this guy is the perfect person to speak out in support of this administration. It has been pointed out to me recently that Rupert Murdoch also owns Sky News, an Anti-Americanish outlet when it suits them, if ya catch my drift: http://theheelersdiaries.blogspot.com/2009/09/today-they-said_17.html Thursday, September 17, 2009 today they said: Tim Marshall, Sky News: "The man who threw his shoes at President Bush is a hero across the Arab world." James Healy: "This cowardly Islamist shoe thrower is not a hero across the Arab world. He is not even a hero across the Muslim world. He is in fact almost universally despised by the millions of Arabs and Muslims who wish to live as partners with other nations and at the same time to live free. He is not a hero to the vast m... Sky News is now dancing to the tune of its sponsor Qatar Airways, the airline of the country which gave the world the Nazi channel Al Jazeera. How much are they paying you Rupert? I mean, what's the going rate for treachery these days? Hoo boy. Sky is really moving in illustrious circles. Sky U Akbar. Long live Sky News. Victory to the shoe throwers of Skybollah. Bring on the dark Islamic night. As a consumer, as long as Fox has the product I like, I'm going to keep on buying! (Same with Google ..... who's political alliances I loathe .... I will still use Google all day long.) Fox News: The Importance of Being Ailes and (Murdock's brain) Anyone who ever wondered how important the Fox News Channel is to Rupert Murdoch and News Corp (NWS) need only peruse the company’s recent proxy statement. Roger Ailes, the former media consultant for Ronald Reagan who runs Fox News and other News Corp TV properties, collected almost $24 million last year in salary, bonuses, stock grants and other benefit... I understand business is business Merrie, and I don't begrudge Sky News for appealing the the left leaning masses with stories and statements as shown above. I just don't forget it. I also try my best not to use Google anymore. Not after they put absolutely no token of remembrance for September 11th, and they do for so many other events, many of them quite trivial. My understanding is that Sky news is the more conservative alternative to the government funded BBC in the UK. As for Google, I use many of their products like gmail, reader, google voice, maps, and others, but lately for searching I have been using bing. My understanding is that Sky news is the more conservative alternativeThat should give you an idea of how bad things are this side of the pond As for Google, I use many of their products like gmail, reader, google voice, maps, and others, but lately for searching I have been using bing. I use most all Google products, except for searching I PREFER Yahoo! search b/c unlike Google, they don't cull entries based on political ideology. |
