Oh...yes. And the french are soooo superior to the rest of the world. NOT! Those where Canadians and have you seen test footage of NASAs early days? Those might have been Canadians but who made that Anti-Tank weapon? Old Canada is mostly Bi-Lingual (English/French) and is little France for all I care. Yes, NASA had it's share of failures (and still will) but moved on. The U.S Space program is still the most successful of any nation. Period. true.. but at what cost..? Canada is not mostly bilingual, most Canadians know a smattering of French taught in school to accommodate the Quebecois. And let me tell you of the spectacular failure of some American weapon systems like the Sgt. York. It was just a test, stuff like that happens all the time. Oh and considering the current disaster that is the Shuttle program, I would dare say that things are back to the bad old days! Ratilfar: I believe I stated 'Old Canada' For someone who once lived only 30 from that location, I believe, (and so do my Canadian friends) that refers to the Montreal area, hence, Old Canada. Much of the poulation there speak very good French. ; ) The beer up there was quite good I might add. On offense meant, I just thought the whole clip looked like something out of a modern day Monty Python clip meant to ridicule the French. Yes/No? Cheers- wooohoo. that was funny! Oh its funny, in on itself, I'm just glad it did NOT blow up. |
