I do, too! Another reason to love Firefox. My Bookmark Toolbar is nothing but icons! So easy to click on my favorite sites.

I don't find the way to do that...You have to teach me...What should I do to have My Bookmark Tool bar only with icons...I'm a grandmother learning new things....

Thank you e_s_jp for this....

Quick way to make the bookmark toolbar have only icons is to right click on each book mark, select properties, and delete their name.

Another way to do it is with an extension that hides the names until you mouse over. This is nice in case you forget which icon is which (helps when you add new bookmarks). Smart Bookmarks Bar does just that.

Some websites don't have favicons which are those little bookmark icons. So if you are feeling really creative, you can make your own or find some someone else made. You just need a way to assign them to the book mark. Favicon Picker allows you to do just that.

n2,

I tried Favicon Picker2. I didn't like it, uninstalled it and it took away most of my icons. Now, I have to click on each bookmark, then icon comes back. I'll be busy all day!

That's ok. Turned out to be just what I needed to do to clean out my bookmark folders. Since joining CM, I've been adding about 20-30+ bookmarks to my folders every day. Now, I'm trying to figure out how to just organize them here in a way that makes everything easier to find.

I also installed addon Bookmark Duplicate Detector and found where I'd bookmarked same sites in 3 folders.

Gave me something to do today

OK, I finally got Favicon Picker2 to work. It's great. But the easiest way is:

Still need Favicon Picker2 installed:

1) Find a pic (I find one around 100x100 or less), use photo editor to crop & reduce size to 32x32, save in My Pics.
2) Open Organize Bookmarks, click on Bookmark you want icon on, you get the Properties window. I delete any name there...or move that to description field.
3) Under Icon, click Browse, select your edited pic, OK. and there it is!

Going through FP2 options was confusing, sometimes putting same icon on other BMs

Try that! You'll like it.
