The best mainstream media can come up with is 'limited refining capacity' as their reason du jour for high prices at the pump. But we examined <A href="http://groovygreen.com/groove/?p=1376" target="_blank">the deeper implications of limited refining capacity</A> several weeks ago even before Congress did such <A href="http://www.theoildrum.com/node/2568" target="_blank">a woeful job</A> of investigating it (hat tip Robert Rapier). And it is true that national gasoline stocks are lower and Memorial driving Day is right around the corner.
