VampireRat says: Here's another great tip from Downloadsquad. I have multiple users on my desktop and two more on my laptop. Now, if I want, I can make Firefox be the same on all of them - bookmarks, cookies, passwords, etc. Firefox screwed up my massive bookmarks file, so I went back to using regular Mozilla. Good News: My bookmarks don't get messed up. Bad News: No more updates. a lot of Firefox extensions are not backwards compatible with Mozilla. I've also been trying out the Firefox add-on, Foxmarks. This keeps a copy of my bookmarks online AND syncs my bookmarks (if I want) for all my user names on all my computers. I also used to keep a backup copy of my bookmarks file for emergencies. Sounds like it wouldn't be a bad idea to make one now. My bookmarks are massive. I hate the Firefox bookmarks organizer. Anyone know of a better one? Not for saving bookmarks, but for organizing them into groups/folders. |
