Yet another horse has to be euthanized after taking what should have been a simple bad step.

This should NOT be happening, and I think the powers-that-be in racing better find out why so many horses go down and never get up.

He was taken to Norton Audubon Hospital in Louisville for X rays, which revealed no broken bones or serious injuries, according to his agent Doc Danner.

Vinstar appeared to take a bad step near the sixteenth pole in the six-furlong sprint and Bridgmohan was dropped in the process of trying to pull the colt up.
