Our military wouldn't be worth a shit on the ground here in the states against a red invasion, so an armed citizenry would be our last hope. Lock and load, dudes. Is not that easy to invade another country, especially one as large and as heavily populated as the U.S. Besides, why invade with soldiers when they already flooded the market with their cheap goods. When the times comes China will have a self-sustaining consumer base and it will leave the U.S. economy to wither and die. You are of course correct, rat. It would be very difficult to stage a mass invasion of the US, let alone just some ordinary country. Look at Iraq. We certainly haven't been able to overwhelm them with numbers. That effort has left us bankrupt (other factors have only increased the damage) and weak. On the other hand, look what Mexico has managed to do to us. All that aside, for better or worse I still maintain that our well armed citizenry is a major factor in any shift of rule in this land and it must always be accounted for.
