Yes, Vista is a nightmare for newbies (me) and technophiles (the Beta tester I spoke to). Microsoft never revealed the extent to which XP programs would fail to initialize on Vista, and has created a "ladder of optimization," where you are always tantalized with upgrades. However, it is a sandbox, and in time the nightmare will end and become a good dream. with so many programs not working with Vista, why should I ( the consumer with out Mr Gates considerable bank account totals) buy this? To me and many who others, this is the most blatant slap in our faces, if we can not afford a brand new PC to install this on, with the programs that will run on it, we are SOL. Thanks Mr Gates, I am not one bit surprised at your attacks on the very people who give you your success. |
