America, Britain, just about everywhere history is taught it is always spun, lacking basic truths of the actual events, like thanksgiving for instance. That is bad enough, lying to our children. But leaving out altogether such a period of history so not to offend someone is offensive in itself, even to Muslims as it assumes they can't deal with learning history if the topic does not conform to some idea people have about how all Muslims think.

I was simply making a point that you can't dump everyone into a single category. They're all muslims, but they're definitely not the same when it comes to thinking, doing etc. I have a very good friend, who is a muslim and I'm sure there are plenty of others similar to him and then of course you have people like bin ladin... so I was simply trying to state not to dump them all in the same boat. Although if you don't pay attention to me quoting - I can see how you may interpret it differently than intended.
