Clipette and I were reading "conversations about consciousness" and one interviewee referred to "qualia" every other sentence. Have to admit that I had to look it up.

But 7 is such a lucky number! How could this be?

The way I put it to a friend recently - if I get up on a weeked and still see a 7 on a clock I'm affected by it - 7:59 bad, 8:01 much better.

I also posited that if you were trying to walk through a doorway at the same time as a number 7 it would be all elbows and jostling, a 6 or 8 would turn sideways and allow you to pass unhindered.
