I liked the closing line in the article, where one of the previous owners (heir) that continued working for the bank for awhile after it was sold, said "maybe they (new owners) weren't as smart as they thought" He had been opposed to selling the bank, but again the other owners sold the bank, took the money, and didn't worry about what happened to the town if the new owners failed.
