I've met a few people (three, to be exact) from online chat rooms in real life, and none from any of my other Internet social memberships or interactions. The ability to chat with people from all over the world is a wonderful, amazing thing, but more of my time spent involved in social activities on the web are actually more passive, and by that I mean that I'm usually much more interested in learning other's views and observing behavior without becoming involved or expressing an opinion, one way or the other. Clipmarks is a somewhat notable exception for me. I think it's because (for the most part) opinions are offered and accepted as just what they are without a lot of offensive or defensive behavior. In other words, people here seem to behave as adults, which is quite refreshing, so 'Kudos!' to Clipmarks and its resident 'clippers'.
