The Jesus of the Bible broke the traditional ancient world model of the value of women. Even Judaism, which God intended to elevate the status of women, eventually brought their standards in line with the current standards of their surrounding culture. He, by His teachings & examples, elevated women and gave them a place of honor. All are equal before Him.
