 enbar says: Anyone tried this? I am looking for a reliable extension that can give me more bookmarklet space by, say, adding a second toolbar. I haven't tried this. Don't know if anyone else is doing this, but I've made my Bookmark Toolbar Folder with just the icons of my favorite sites, letting the overflow extend in the dropdown sidebar on the right. I rename the bookmark by deleting any name. (Can't do this with IE.) Sure makes finding things faster. Anyone else doing this? Wow I tried it - and uninstalled it immedately. After rebooting Firefox, it came up just fine. I went into View..Toolbars..Customize. Then I saw the extra buttons there on the bottom. They all say "add script." Not "add bookmark" or "add toolbar" or anything like that. But they had different icons so I picked the one that looked like a bookmark, and dragged it up there between my addres bar and my search box. A nice little dialog popped up for me to type in some script. OK, it said script, and thats wha tthe dialog wanted so thats ok, but they ALL said script.... So, I figured I'd remove that button and try the other "add script" icon and see if IT allows adding a simple bookmark bu... Whoa. Yeah, forget that. Thanks for heads up. I'll pass on this one. |
