lifedream says: When I was first introduced to bergamot, I used it for a cold sore. I had no Idea that is was the bitter orange tree. One day when I was on vacation in california, I saw an orange grove next to the motel where I was staying. The trees were loaded with oranges and hanging over the fence where they were they were dropping on the parking lot. I thought it would be no harm to eat one. So I picked one from the tree hanging over my car. The skin was separate from the orange like a tangerine. It was so easy to peal. So I took a big bite. Ohhhh! Yuck ! The bitter orange is nasty. But it works well on cold sores.*** |
