The trick is to find someone who shares your addiction to the computer, so that you can have physical companionship without having to give up your online life. It can be done (I did it), but you have to look in the right places--online, of course. Not those love match sites. Try getting to know people through discussion groups/forums on topics you enjoy. Worked for me!
