How many 15 year old Canadians do you know who take vacations into war zones without their parents?

Outraged Canadians are dangerous (scoff).

This is why we need quick and decisive tribunals in regards to "detainees" We are wasting our money and destroying their lives. The detainees should be brought to justice or acquitted of their charges in a timely fashion.

Just shoot them or behead them.

Or lock them up for 10 years without trial instead of 5. And don't bother with a defence as you know the outcome of any show trail so what's the point of a defence?

There's an idea. We can behead them on T.V. and broadcast it into "insurgent" breeding grounds.

Law number one. Never be prey, and never stoop to the level of the predator. You must descend lower than those who would take your life and explain to them, by force, that you are not a meal worth having.

All of my psychosis aside, I agree that a trial at this junction would be pointless. The break down of the concepts of proper law and order in regards to all interested has forever tainted one of man's most noble goals. The rational application of just and proper law.

None of this was an issue in the past. Most of these guys would have ended up dead on the battlefield. BUt our sensibilities have changed. Seriously, what is the alternative. We can't behead them and youtube it. We can't leave them on the battlefield to attack again.

The proper care and feeding of these thugs was set up long ago and for decades it was just fine and dandy, but the left is trying to blame Bush for simply using the procedures at his disposal.

You mean quick and fair trials, expose all the evidence and get this over with. BTW, POWs have been an issue for a long time ever since the American Civil War.
