We don't have health care in this country, we have a health care industry.

All policies are rewritten monthly and can legally go up 30% quarterly. If you start looking like a liability to them you will be weaned off with quarterly raises in your monthly premium. Any time you allow a middle man to come between you and what you need the cost is at least 30% more in total costs. That wouldn't be so bad if it was accompanied with better service, but that's just not the case, there is also a 30% decrease in services too.
