skwirlinator says: Its a 12 step program On a more serious note, check this out: http://zenhabits.net/2007/06/8-practical-tips-to-cure-your-internet-add-attention-deficit-disorder/ Does being a Cliptomaniac count as an internet addiction disorder? If so, I'm in serious trouble. I popped on simply to read a few clips and damn, I'm still here, "rooted to the spot". Love that pic! Well, I didn't expect that!! So funny; mainly because it's a spot of truth. The internet has opened up the world! Why would I want to wash dishes, clean the house, shop for groceries, hang out with friends...when I can look at beautiful photos from all over the world, read interesting news, banter with people at Clipmarks, be in the know with what's going on in the Middle East, read an endless variety of Christian material (all free and without buying the books), listen to great messages from my favorite pastors anytime I want to, play ISketch and Zoo Tycoon, etc.... :~) It's just the coolest thing. What's a newspaper?? I need a skylight over my pc so I can see the sun. I have mirrors strategically placed so I can see all the other rooms of the house from my pc chair. Sometimes I have the kids spritz the fan so I can experience a rain storm. When I do go to that big room with the weather I always take my fully charged laptop! There are other people, I have pictures of them. I change my oil in my car every 3 months or 30 miles - whichever comes first. I defrag while I sleep I virus scan while I sleep If you dont eat or drink you really dont have to use the 'facilities' as much! When I 'must' go out - my mouse finger twiches I have a mouse finger, a rt-clk finger and a shift finger I have worn out multiple mouse buttons skwirlinator.. that sounds so like you!!! Love the picture too! |
