Excellent post.
I have viewed dozens of planned demolitions in the cities, and for it to work right (so as not to harm any nearby structures), they must plant the explosives very carefully in the infrastructure and the substructure, for the collapse to remain into its self.
I have always looked at those (9/11) videos with wonder, because of just this very thing. I too, believe that there was a lot more going on there that fateful day. I don't think I'll live long enough to ever find out.
One thing is for sure I don't think I'll ever feel completely safe again. And isn't that just what the purpose of this whole thing was about?
