masbury says: than any other country. And health care reform can save us money, for instance: "If more Americans are insured, we can cut payments that help hospitals treat patients without health insurance..." The problem is allowing the insuring of Americans' health to be a profit-driven enterprise. So long as people are trying to make profits on covering people for healthcare, you're going to see these wild expenses, the unnecessary tests and insurance agencies refusing to cover people with existing conditions. It amounts to a crime against humanity to allow corporate insurance to cover Health Care; a scam of the highest order. Americans turn their nose up at socialized, universal health care, but the reality is that people get better care, for much less cost, with doctors and other healthcare professionals getting paid for every person they see and treat. Given the need for financial and economic reform ie. bailouts, corruption and waste, why is this not a matter of National Security? Probably because no one is going to get rich(er) by calling it a matter of National Security. |
