masbury says:
Ad falsely accuses Obama of advocating explicit sex education for kindergartners; the Illinois Senate bill referred to recommended teaching kids to recognize inappropriate touching, encouraged teachers not to go along with "stork"-type myths; it never even suggested "sex education" in the way the ad portrays. McCain lies again.

Thanks! Every one of these ads is a testimony of the McCain campaign's conviction that its own ideas are not sufficient to win.
And that Obama's ideas have to be misrepresented in order for him NOT to win.

masbury---"And that Obama's ideas have to be misrepresented in order for him NOT to win"

I see examples of this right and left, and it is sure helping the Republicans right now. I talk to people all the time who are repeating the false information and it informs their decision-they are "afraid" of an Obama presidency. "We have nothing to fear but fear itself" hasn't caught on in my neighborhood.

Someone needs to remind McCain that he wrote this:

On an anti-Obama ad the NC GOP planned to run:

From the beginning of this election, I have been committed to running a respectful campaign based upon an honest debate about the great issues confronting America today. I expect all state parties to do so as well. The television advertisement you are planning to air degrades our civics and distracts us from the very real differences we have with the Democrats. In the strongest terms, I implore you to not run this advertisement.

This ad does not live up to the very high standards ...
