Ethanol is still a fledgling technology and the usage of it is not widespread. it's a bit early to be blaming starvation on that. 2. There have been multiple discoveries to make ethanol out of stuff other than corn. If you keep reading clipmarks I'm sure you'll see many references pop up to different fibrous plants that have nothing to do with human foods and are much more efficient than corn. 3. The only reason we'd need to see extensive use of ethanol manufacturing is if people continue to push for crude based energy.
