Coulter is a totally self-serving, mean-spirited woman who flings out accusations and slander with no compunction whatsoever. She does not care what she says or who she says anything about. She goes for shock value....period.

Now, all that being said, I have to wonder why people support her work as much as they do. All of her books wind up on the New York Times Bestseller List. She is constantly booked on television chat shows and is read in syndication via many newspapers. Who are these people who really agree with her damnable tactics and comments? Much of what she gets away with would never fly up here in Canada. We have hate speech laws, and I believe she would have a very rough time of it trying to survive on our air waves.

You guys need to understand the Ann Coulter "value proposition".

1. She is a good looking blonde. Believe me she knows this.

2. She says stuff as a form of theatre. The more outrageous, the better her relevance, and the more books that get sold.

Lastly, she is in a pile of idiots in BOTH parties that do the same thing. Limbaugh, Boortz, Hannity, Coulter, Franken and others that I cant think of right now.

Take them all with a 20 lb grain of salt then vote what you think is right.

As for the homophobe thing..I doubt Coulter is scared of homosexuals, which is what that term literally means. However, I am puzzled why she threw that particular bomb at a married man. Is Edwards gay? If so I havent heard about it.
