I don't know Oscarrob. I can tell you that I don't listen to rap music and I don't listen to Imus, Howard Stern or Bill O'Reilly for that matter. I've listened to country music which is full of divorce, cheating, drinking and suicide. All I can say is I'm sad that this has escalated into a black/white issue with both sides pointing the finger at each other, eagerly insisting both sides are more objectifying of women. News Flash; women are objectified from birth until death. I know what that kind of hard work that is because I played women's basketball in college. I'm just disappointed that message is being lost.

I do take exception with Al Sharpton and others just taking on Imus without thinking about where Imus thought he had gotten the "license" to say these things in the first place -- black and white rappers for a start.

I listen to everything from folk, to country, to rap and you can find some poor references to women in some other genres of music as well.
