fascinating! of course the premise of the paper however is that systems are designed to solve problems. but what if systems (or some systems) are emergent properties of large aggregations of humans and motives, in this case systems are not designed but emergent and thus though they may appear designed and complexity fallible they are in fact chaotic happenstances, which is a way out of the complexity issue.
