I drink a dan active every day, Mug. I don't know if it's a placebo effect and I don't really care, but it seems to help my seasonal allergies.

I heard on a PBS science podcast by Robert Krulwich that:

There are about 100 trillion cells in an average adult human body.

Your large intestine hosts 100 billion bacteria in every gram (1/30th of an ounce) of your intestine.

Each adult hosts trillions and trillions of bacteria total.

There are 10-20 times more bacteria/microbe cells in each adult than there human mammal cells.

"Something to ponder", as Mr. Krulwich sums it up.
