You know - a rose by any other name, etc. The pres. swears he's not nationalizing any companies, but he wants to tell them how to pay their employees. Notice, nothing is said about this only applying to companies who've accepted bail-outs. At the very least, this is the definition of Socialism.

I FEEL ITS NOT BONUSES THAT ARE GOING TO BE AN ISSUE ITS WORK, AND WHATS WRONG WITH SOCIALISM,LOOK WHERE THE OTHER LOT GOT US, IN THE CASE OF THE RUNAWAY WALL ST BANKS 'THEY HAVE TO BE REINED IN NOW. THEIR BONUSES WOULD PAY AN AWFUL LOT OF BLUE COLLAR WORKERS BONUSES ON THE FACTORY FLOOR , INSTEAD OF INDIVIDUAL NUMBERS MEN ,AND WITH TAX PAYERS MONEY BAILED OUT BY THE YOU KNOW - THE ROSE BY ANY OTHER NAME PRES--

What's wrong with Socialism is that it lead to Communism; both are branches of the same tree. There is not nearly enough space here to outline what's wrong with that. Suffice it ti say, that my family & I have lived there, & gave up everything, including nearly our lives & 9 months in a concentration/refugee camp to escape it and live in a free, democratic society. Lot's of people in this country think Socialism isn't so bad, but they have no idea what it's really like, even in its less nefarious forms. Ask the man on the street in Great Britain what their medical care is really like.

Socialism does not lead to Communism. I lived my entire life under a socialist democratic state and it has no resembleance to Communism.
