His duties included teaching law of war and serving as the administrative officer for the summer Naval Reserve law courses.

His book is a perfect example of this talent. Without directly lying,
he arranges facts (and omits others) in such a way as to lead a reader
to a completely false conclusion. If challenged, he can reply that he
didn't really lie, the error of fact only exists in the reader's mind.

If Egyptian or American, why attempt to ensure no survivors? Even the most evil Nazis did not murder sailors fleeing sinking ships. Unless the IDF has a blood lust not known in recent history, why then would they attempt to murder either American or Egyptian sailors? Of course we now know that 100s of Egyptian POWs were being massacre at that time near at hand, but I'm not convinced that alone was the reason. Would effective jamming not have received such a result if needed. After all the IDF succeeded in jamming the Liberty's Mayday calls.

It points to orders to sink USS Liberty with NO survivors! That leaves WHY??? WW3???!!! But why?
