Strange...After reading both the blog entry and the source article, I have no clue as to what prompted the blogger's self-described rant. The article as I read it tells of a community coming together in support of a sick child and her family, not of a religious fantasy. I'd be willing to answer many of his criticisms of prayer and the false impressions he offers of those who pray, but it would give undue credit to his faulty premise. I perfectly understood the ranting itself. I'm just left wondering whether or not you and the author actually read the article. Or, if instead, both or you have created your own strawman to swipe at.
