wiccantexan says: ----- Forwarded Message From: Circle Times At midday today, President George W. Bush met by phone with Roberta Stewart, a Wiccan from Nevada and member of Circle Sanctuary. The president apologized to Roberta for her not being invited to the meeting he held in Reno, Nevada on Tuesday with families of Nevada soldiers killed in action. We all knew he 's a bigot. That is just plain wrong - they should be able to have whatever faith they wish on his marker. This should become a rally point but it is buried in the twisted lies of the media. How can America stand for the freedoms it preaches to the world. I know that I, as a citizen of the USA, feel this is wrong. I am not Wiccan but I respect my fellow American's rights to worship any religion they so chose. What is good for one is good for all religions. If there was a Wiccan ceremonial parade outside my home passing down the street I would not support it, but I would not hinder it either skwirlinator, the pentacle has been approved by the VA (after 10 years and much media attention). However, this "oversight" was deliberate. So, you need to believe in a god to die for America! Are they buried together? Is who buried together? See update above. I don't think you should even have to fight to get whatever marker you want on your tombstone. Everyone has the right to their own faith as well as many other things and nobody has the right to stop them. If you want a pentacle on your tombstone, you should be able to get it. It doesn't matter who you are because when you get down to it we're all the same. We should be able to choose what to belive in without people judging or accusing us of things when they don't understand it themselve. |
