Katrina is the largest and farthest reaching natural disaster the USA has experienced to date. It illustrates that any system or plan is only good up to a point. Geography, access to resources and greed always reveals the weaknesses. Lets not forget though that there were many groups and people that did rally to the occassion and are doing all they can. They need our support and praise. Hay, maybe they should be in charge for the next event?
