davboz says: Guests included: Senator John McCain of Arizona, who is seeking the Republican nomination for president, and Senator Christopher Dodd of Connecticut, who is seeking the Democratic nomination; the author Doris Kearns Goodwin, and the political strategists James Carville and Mary Matalin. Comcast has dropped MSNBC from their basic package. Could Imus' firing have impacted their revenue? I wasn't a fan, but that whole debacle was absurd. I had watched occassionaly, I caught some of the show on RFD TV (Directv) this morning. Although not a devoted fan, nice to see Al Sharpton couldn't keep Imus off the air. Imus had a fairly large following, hope MSNBC and their sponsors feel the pinch in the pocket book due to their cowardly behavior towards Don and bowing to the almighty Sharpton & Jackson. I predict RFD TV will pickup some large sponsors if Don's audience follows him to RFD. |
