Having tried a few free AV, the three that top my own & most others lists are, in order. Avira Avast AVG I currently use avira and have done for sometime. I have tested a lot of AV programs like: Norton (of of the poorest programs I have ever inflicted upon my poor computer). Zonealarm which is ok but will slow down your system and doesn't catchall. Mcaffee is mediocre at best. Kapersky, seems effective but produces a lot of false positives. The free ones I tried seemed effec... Good info, thanks |
