The best way to reduce the death count is to invest in better ways to get clean water, sanitary services, and enough food to everyone in the world. By boosting immune systems and reducing means with which the disease will quickly spread we can do a lot better job at preventing fatalities than by stockpiling expensive medicines with a limited shelf-life.

Or we could all start covering our mouths when we sneeze... how about that?!?!
