I would like to be invited to a tea party. Guess I'll have to give one to see if others feel the same way.

I haven't been to a tea party since I was a little girl with my fancy little teacups and teapot and all my dolls and teddies lined up for the treat of my imaginary cakes and cookies. Aah yes, a tea party would be nice. .

I know a few people who might come to a tea party if I give one, but most of the people I know here in this neck of the woods would much rather go to a booze party than to a tea party—they would want Long Island Iced Tea served, I suppose. So I will have to start small by inviting just a couple of people in for afternoon tea. Doesn’t that sound civilized?!

It would be so fun to have a tea party. It's something that my daughter and I could do together. Possibly invite another Mom/Daughter over.

Wurdzgurl, your Mom/Daughter tea party sounds delightful! I don't know how old your daughter is, but whatever her age she will have fun making the tea snacks and serving tea to her friend and "the Moms".

my mother in law is throwing herself a 60th birthday tea party this summer..i think it's a great idea.
