Thank you Invictus. I say something similar to myself quite often. "How incredible that i get to work on something that is fun, inspiring, challenging and meaningful that provides me the opportunity to learn about all sorts of interesting things from amazing people around the world."

Thank you for everything you have done to make this a special place. I have learned a lot from you!

Oh, and Eric gave me the opportunity to pop a clip from my own blog, so I'm popping it.

It's amazing to me, given how cool The Clip is, given that it's accessible to surfers worldwide, that the pause button isn't an essential feature needed to stop the blur of entering clips, rather than a occasionally used convenience, as now. I'm thinking that day is not far off, though.

My work situation will be changing in the next 6 months - ownership of my organisation will be changing and this is causing me to reflect on where I want to be and what I want to be doing (I'm a coder/systems analyst/designer) - a colleague advised me to approach it from this direction:

Do I want to work for/with a world-class organisation? - if so who's world class?

Clipmarks is now my point of reference in terms of the execution (and continued development) of a wonderfully simple idea (so simple everybody I show it to gets it right away and can understand how they 'd use it).

Thanks guys.

I absolutely agree, Ghiberti. A simple but a genius work with its great usability and functionality.

Clipmarks should be nominated (and win) the best Web 2.0 Application this year.

Invictus's blog post is really a great summary of what makes Clipmarks something of a benchmark in what he called "online information communities." It reminds me of meebo in that it's attractively designed, intuitively easy to use, versatile, and feature-rich without being bloated or clunky. And the community is incredible. Thanks everyone.
