If found, a graviton will prove to be a very NON Quantum particle. Perhaps it is so elusive because it exists at the opposite end of the scale from quantum. Perhaps it is a super paricle, existing in all states whether observed or not. Perhaps it exists in all dimensions simeotaneously.
Gravity is a door that will open wonderful things to us if we ever figure out how to unlock it.
