Sadness is not the same as depression (though it is true that depression includes what's been called 'malignant sadness') and it is 'sad' that so many take pills or drugs or drink to blot it out. To dream of a life without sadness is a politician's dream, an advertiser's dream, the dream of someone who cannot or will not grow into the fullness of human maturity. I think poets and other artists, and the people we relate to intimately, demonstrate this more strongly than a scientist ever can. Hallo abailart! I just was starting to write the same as you - but I'm not able, to do it in so short sentences! One who means to be a scientist, should know the difference between sadness and depression. But both don't help to solve any problems. But people who are depressive, often get a dreative kick for to pull themselves out of their darkness. This is a self-saving reaction. This "Scientist" is kept in his mind and not able, that a darkness of mind not is the same, as if my mother dies, or you lose your house and job. I'm not a scientist, but I observed people for many years - people of every kind that appear in Europe. And I believe, I can look at the most of them, without to see at f... Chess I thought laughter is the best medicine.. I'll keep my "laughter" on the top shelf of my medicine cabinet. I don't care what they say, if given a choice, I'll take the laughter any day. |
