I know in some institutions of higher learning students are not allowed to use the internet as a source of information because the information could be flawed. But the same thing could be said of books. Take one subject and two authors, you could end up with two very different ways of looking at the same thing. I can't say I agree with you Bear. The limitations of the debate are well described and net neutrality isn't part of it. You could be right if you mean that the debate might be to much detached from reality if it doesn't treat the topic of net neutrality. But it's out of the scope of this debate. It focusses on gatekeepers, of the thrustworthiness of communal 'wisdom'. To be honest, I find it enlightening to find a debate that does limit itself to this scope and does not focus on the topic of net neutrality.
