Don't look now, but for the first time in a decade we are dealing with the world effectively. And the only lies I am hearing are something like, "I did not have sex with that woman", or "I was in Cambodia on Christmas", and so on.

Yep. Revealed myself as a patriot, a supporter of democracy, enemy of evildoers, and fervent wisher of al Qaeda's speedy demise. And you have revealed yourself as quite the opposite.

Our Country is deeply and principally divided along political lines. May our 'house divided' not destroy ourselves because our enemies are already trying to do so.

Thank you Jatfla. We patriots are rapidly becoming a minority in this country. I don't know what it will take to unite us again, but it will probably be the enemy doing something so unspeakable that even the liberals will wake up and realize there is a war on.

And I want to apologize to everyone for my frequent inflammatory postings. I get emotional about the war and the things some people are doing to cause us to lose. I should have learned by now to get up from the computer, walk around awhile, then respond. Also when I have a few drinks I should just turn the damn thing off.

Ezsparky and I have communicated privately and have come to the realization that we both had the wrong impressions of each other. I respect him a lot.

The amazing thing about the great US of A is our freedom. Those who wish to fight for it, do so. Those who wish to attend religious meetings can do so (without one being chosen for them). The people of this country choose their profession, their spouse, the city in which they live and how many children they wish to parent. This list could go on and on and on. Does it mean that others choose what I would? No. But we all have the freedom to choose for ourselves, whether it's the right choice or wrong choice.

P.S. I'm truly impressed with the character of those 2 people who apologized to one another for their comments. There are so many childish adults in this world. It's great to no that they aren't one of 'em.
