arifsali says: I'd like to connect with you on Amplify if you're on it. I can't seem to figure out how to do it directly at Amplify (unless I stumble upon people on my own through its home page). So go ahead and add your Amplify page in the comments, here is mine: http://arif.amplify.com/ PS: this clip is for you to leave your amplify URL and not just popping. OMG, I can't even keep up with CM. Sorry arisfali. I haven't tried it yet. Heck, I don't even have a twitter account! I'm in the same boat as Deb and ratilfar. I've just startet. http://johammonia.amplify.com I just noticed I can't follow group clogs on Amplify. Right, you can only follow users on Amplify, but you'll get each of the clips that they post on your homefeed, including clips to whatever groups they contribute to. http://eweitner.amplify.com I don't follow Wilhelm ('cause I don't care for his politics) but I'd like to follow his photography clog (same goes for n2), I guess it wouldn't work for me that way. Hi Arifsali, I have suggested that on amplify. It hasn't received many pops. I too think it would be great to follow some of my CM guides on amplify. Actually, clipmarks is much easier to find people whose clips you like to follow. Through the tabs. I like the choice of seeing everyone's, ones that are being popped, my guides only etc. Much simpler. Sorry, I don't twitter (but I often waffle) / amplify - CM is enough for me, for the time being. I Joined twitter and amplify but i prefer CM,i cant see any point in twitter I clip to a few different clogs, but it's probably easiest to follow me from my latest clip here: http://amplify.com/u/jer I think I am: knairn.amplify.com I'm also happy that you inquired because I too would like to AMP UP with a few folks. Ashangel_ on twitter but it's just a rss feed for clipmarks and other sites. I had an account for amplify but it seems to have vanished It was also an rss feed for clipmarks. I don't follow Wilhelm ('cause I don't care for his politics) but I'd like to follow his photography clog (same goes for n2)If a clog is open to join (such as the photography clog), you can join it and you get e-mails when someone adds a new article. If you join different groups, the easiest way to not accidentally send your latest clip to the wrong clog is to always send it to your home clog first then after it is done it will give you the option to add it to another clog. BTW, anyone is welcome to join the photography clog. The way I use amplify is I clip everything except subjects exclusive to Clipmarks to my personal Amplify clog and then I have the option to send the... Just realised what I posted in my previous comment was incorrect. It was going to be an rss feed, I had set up an account but had not gone any further with it. I miss a public forum on Amplify where we could share/discuss/question ideas for Amplify. They recently made a change and have removed the Thanks button. Now I have no idea why and what that Recommend button alone does. There should be a background information provided by the developers on what each function of Amplify does along with the information of changes they implement. The thanks button simply left a remark saying thanks. The recommend button recommends the clip to people following you. They see it in their stream with a large picture of the original clipper with a small picture of you over it in the corner. And I would love to see an open forum of some kind to discuss ideas for Clipmarks and Amplify. I was told of Feedback button at the bottom of Amplify. Here's a link to one of the question I asked: http://feedback.amplify.com/pages/17155-support/suggestions/325764-what-was-is-the-difference-between-recommend-and-thank-you-now-removed-button- Seems they're spending lots of energy and time on developing/pushing Amplify over Clipmarks. I intend to shift my focus over it seriously as well. It's worth giving this new service a serious try since Clipmarks appears to be running on auto-pilot lately. Only time will tell how things pan out. |
