Australia sends home Indonesian shark fishermen and has aid programmes for their communities re turle breeding etc.Billions has been given in aid ,2000 schools have been built by our generosity .In West Papua the good land has been stolen from tribal & Melanesian locals and given to resettlement of Javanese.SOUNDS FAMILIAR !! Their Kopass (like SS nazi,s) infamous in East Timor get trained in Australia.They have buoght a Russian fleet with money better spent on education & health little of which they do in West Papua.Their main concern is genocide trans migration and robbing the province of its recources. The UN ignores problem despite not recognising the annexation as it is manipulated by Religious states lobbying against another vote by the people a la East Timor. Muslim Indonesia cares only for Muslims.Siezed aircraft will be a corrupt officials prize no doubt.

@Kelika ..Tourism operators thought that they could get visa,s at airport.Other Australians like biologist have gone there into lost Vally's of north of Island (TV show) with rare tree kangaroos etc like your clip of happy chap-pie in USA zoo the other day.

@Yassim..They still have their nose out of joint over East Timor(Australia led the UN intervention ,to stop the Killing of locals), If there was a vote they would be kicked out of west Papua same story as east Timor. USA has learn, you cant by friendship our mistake with our near neighbor Indonesia.My country is also now hypocritical, if in Timor why not in West Papua?? Is it colour? They think no one Knows? Is it because of US criminal Kissinger,s Investments In Freeport?(world largest gold & copper mine)US pulls strings Australia dances?We set up New Guinea reasonably OK(,Still train administration ,health workers) DUTCH should have DONE the same!!Cold war+ US,paranoid+TNI generals in pock...
