America is on a low. They have stuffed up the world economy, they are losing their manufactured wars, they will impeach someone over a headjob and allow another to murder. A newly elected President reinstates the bankers, commits the rest of the troops to war, makes his first visit to Israel before being Inaugurated, and gives the coal industry the go ahead. They owe China enough that they could buy the country and won't pay workers enough to be able to afford to "Buy American". Not a great future. Great comment tabsey. Obama had great promise, but as is always the case with Democrats, he failed to live up to his potential. He's waffling now on the very reasons Americans voted him into office. Americans, and the world, needs to put pressure on Obama to live up to his promises. Close Gitmo. Give the Detainees proper trials, with all the inherent rights. Arrest Bush, Cheney, Ailito and the rest of his criminal cadre and try them for the war crimes they committed, as well as the violations they committed against the American People. Support a sensible, environment-friendly energy policy. Support the rights of Citizens over the rights of Companies. Help the poor, not the rich; they don't need your help. ... All true Darkforce AND that would reduce the global hate or fear of the US and then the American people would be able to rest and not worry about terrorist attacks, etc. Safer Americans is a good thing. Bush and Co. made Americans less safe than they have been in about 200 years with their reckless and corrupt antics, and they had the utter balls to lie through their teeth and claim they were keeping Americans safe! |
